As a seasoned executive and leader, Jacob’s career has centered around highly-fragmented, specialized repair services within the auto repair sector. He founded Kaizen Auto Care in 2012, and as CEO, led its growth into one of the largest automotive aftermarket repair companies in the country, before a successful exit in 2024.
Today, as a Founder and Managing Partner of Accrual Equity Partners, Jacob focuses his efforts on start-ups, business optimization, and technology enablement. He has served on several boards (Kaizen Collision, State Farm Collision, and Rivian Collision) and has coached and mentored several leaders as an active member of the Entrepreneurs and Young Presidents Organizations. He also serves on the board of Petra Cares, a non-profit dedicated to supporting young adults transitioning out of the foster care system.
Beyond his professional life, he is passionate about giving back to the boxing community. He equips youth fighters with the life skills needed outside of the ring but firmly rooted in the disciplines required to compete inside the ropes. He also enjoys weekends with his family, hiking, biking, and drag racing.
